On findmypast.com Jack C. Kirby was married to Peggy M Mills in the second quarter of 1942 in the Stroud district of Gloucestershire (vol 6A, page 1497 for original record source).  Jack C Kirby was born in the 4th quarter of 1918 in Stroud district, Gloucestershire, mother maiden name Cloudaley (vol 6A, page 497 for original record source). Perhaps this is the person you are looking for.  There appears to be a 1921 census entry as well which is not free to look at now.
