Advice for categorization of Hankins-2132?

I would like advice or may need help creating a new category for the profile of William Henry Hankins. The category might be named something like Proposed Category Name.

Could I get help creating the new category? Or is there an existing category to use? Thank you!

Since I didn't see the cemetery in the drop down list of cemeteries I tried creating a new cemetery category. Yesterday I successfully created two new cemeteries, but today I cannot create the category content. Instead, the red highlighted cemetery text is listed above the bio section and when I click the link it says I cannot edit.

From the help content: "Once you have added the category tag to a profile and saved the record, you will receive a warning that the category does not yet exist. Not to worry, we are going to add it! Go ahead and click 'Save Anyway',"

I did not get the warning message after entering the category text and saving....not sure why as I followed same procedures as yesterday.

You have it as [[Cemetery: when it should start as [[Category:

That is why it comes up with that can't edit message. If it is a category that you have already used then it should work with the change to [[Category:

Thank You Darren! Your response is a good reason why I try limit working with Wikitree profiles late at night. Avoids making careless errors! I need to take my own advice!wink

The category has been created. Hopefully Darren's answer is helpful.  I would also note that you should use the word County if there is no town nearby.  In this case Droop is listed as the town so the category was created using that. But if it wasn’t,t then it should have said Pocahontas County so as to differentiate it from any town inside that county with the same name.

Thanks for creating the Cemetery category! Perhaps I didn't understand how to properly enter the category name. Since the cemetery is in a rural area, I thought I was to use <Cemetery, County> naming. Even though FindAGrave uses a town indicator the cemetery is not in the town. Should I be using the town when FindAGrave uses it in the description?
