I met the the noble lords descendant, his Grace James (Seamus) Graham, the current (8th) Duke of Montrose, at an unveiling of a statue of the first Marquis in the town square in the village of Montrose. Some individuals in the crowd, complete strangers, thought is was myself that posed for the statue, but alas, it wasn't. Later in the day, during a tour, I was standing in front of a copy of a portrait of the Marquis in the local library, and the crowd again stated I looked a lot like him and asked for a photograph of me beside the portrait, so ... unintentionally, I struck the same pose as was seen in the portrait and "dozens" of camera flashes went off and some "very colorful" expressions were made. For the remainder of my two weeks in Scotland, members of my tour group (all extended family and their friends) kept calling me "Your Lordship". Fortunately, now, I'm much older and grayer than the portrait appears (shades of Dorian Gray) and don't look nearly as similar, but still use the image as my avatar.
