Not to spoil the fun, but I've always been puzzled by this number, wondering what it represents exactly :

• Number of WikiTree accounts ever created?
• Number of current WikiTree accounts?
• Number of Honor Code signers?
• Number of active WikiTreers?

If the latter, what does "active" mean? I'm afraid only a small proportion of those 900,000 members have brought, and still bring, a significant contribution to the Tree.

If you click on the Honor Code Signatory Badge, you can see how many people have that badge. 204,267 members as of 18 Apr 2022, 9pm CET. Does that mean that 700,000 members did not sign the Honor Code?

Following the 80/20 principle for community engagement, about 80% of accounts do stay indeed at Family or Guest level. No surprise.

And among those who sign the Honor Code, a second level of 80/20 certainly apply. 80% of contributions are made by 20% of members. 20% of 200,000 is 40,000.

Another napkin corner computation : the growth of WikiTree is about 10,000 new profiles by day, assess the mean value of how many you have added daily since you have joined, and count how many really active contributors you need to add 10,000 profiles a day. Certainly not 900,000.

[edited] : just made the above computation for you, Jelena. WikiTree+ query with Text "Creator-Eckstädt-2" yields 20,000+ profiles added in a little less than 5 years, that is more than 10 profiles/day .  Only 1,000 contributors as efficient as you are needed to get the current growth.

Granted, added profiles is not the only way to contribute, far from it. But the rest is difficult to assess.
