Need Category text for Coker Cemetery in Bexar Co TX, It has Three Texas Historical Markers!

First time categorizing. Well, actually second. I did my first earlier today and it was a snap. Wish I had known about it when I was first setting up my profiles, such a good idea!

I'm looking for the proper text to categorize this cemetery where I have several ancestors buried. Also, should I be doing something to signify the Texas State Historical Markers? It is unique that three  are located at this one site.

While looking for the text, I found the Coker Cemetery named in a list on the cemetery category pages but it did not yet have that landing page that describes the text to be used like all the others did. If it is under review, I'm including the link to the cemetery below and this short summary for reference.

My GGFx3 Joseph Coker moved their entire Coker family to the site where they created a small, but thriving community, the Coker Community. His older brother John "Jack" Coker received the Land Grant for his heroism at the Battle of San Jacinto. "Uncle Jack" and six others under Sam Houston's command are considered instrumental in the victory over Santa Ana's troops for their plan, and execution of that plan, to destroy a bridge thereby deliberately "trapping" themselves, forcing a long awaited battle that ironically, reportedly, lasted only 17 minutes.

I don't want to get the category text wrong, if somebody would provide or point me to it I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Below is the link to the cemetery which includes  fascinating articles written by my genealogist Uncle, Bob Battaglia who also served as the Coker Cemetery Association's Historian and board member until his death. The board, among other things, reviews applications for burial there which is, as I understand it, is exclusive and restricted to bloodline family. So, if any of you are on my branches....! Too noisy for me, the original grant land is at or adjacent to the current San Antonio Airport! I never got to meet this genealogist uncle, his and Dad's connection was a DNA surprise, but it seems I've inherited his obsession!

First, add the category to the profile of someone buried there. [[Category:Coker Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas]]. Then save the profile. You will be prompted that the category doesn't exist. Chose Save Anyway.

Once you've done that, the category will show up as a red link at the bottom of the profile. That will take you to a blank page where you can create the new category.

Use this page to properly create the category.https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:CategoryInfoBox_Cemetery

Make sure you include the webpage link and name using the paramters webpage and webpagetext.

You can add extra information to the category by using a colon followed by the text.

You could even include a link to this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVhXsjmr6i4

You might also consider creating a free space page for the cemetery so you can fully expand on the history, including the three historical markers. If you do that, be sure to use the spacepage parameter to point to it within the category.

You did a great job on creating the Category for the Coker Cemetery. I added a couple things to your category to help fill it with more information. Again, great job on the Category.

Thanks so much Dean, It looks great! Especially appreciate the extra touches like the Texas Flag! When I first got there, I'll admit I was a bit intimidated by what I saw and the template but I was going to come back and give it a shot! I just now spent some time looking at your edits and I think I get it! Even added the aka "The Coker Community Cemetery" and it worked great. So cool to see it in action. Thanks again.
I added websitetext and startdate as well. I would encourage you to consider creating a free space page for the cemetery. This is an example: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Sterling-White_Cemetery%2C_Highlands%2C_Texas

And these are a couple that I have created:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:The_Stedman_family_cemetery

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:New_Helvetia_Cemetery_%28Defunct%29

I think the Coker Cemetery begs for a free space page that displays it's monuments and notable burials.
Yes, I agree! It's on my to do list. I liked the idea when you first suggested it, there is so much history there. Thank you for the examples, I like the maps in the Steadman page, I think I have digital copy of the land grant as well. Thanks!

I'll have to check this one out soon, it's just a ten minute drive away. Thanks for your work here.

Thanks. I just started working on the space page, so fun and another first for me. Looking forward to addressing the Texas Historical Markers on the site. One is for Jefferson Davis Smith and it tells of his and his brothers' kidnapping as children and his subsequent sale to Chief Geronimo! Only to be rescued some 10 years later by mercenary Bandits for $1000. These stores write themselves!
