Military Enthusiasts - Profile Needs Research

I could use some expertise and help adding to this profile I created for Lieut. James Brennand.  He has an interesting story.  We know that he was born in either England or Singapore, served in the U.S. Army during the United States-Philippines conflict of 1899-1902, servied in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces during WWI (1915-1919) and also served in the Canadian militia.

The timeline is a bit muddled.  It seems likely he emigrated from England to the United States and then north to Canada.  The only certain date is that he emigrated to Canada in 1912 (Census Record)

I know admittedly nothing of American military records from the period of the United States-Philippines War.

Would appreciate any assistance possible in adding to this.  Thanks in advance.

I did a search on Fold3 and found a copy of the US Army Register for when James Brennand enlisted in the US Army. Get a hold of me if you would like a copy of the document.
