Malcolm Rowlands has been conducting English research on birth and parentage of PGM Robert Field.
He's located records that may resolve questions existing for decades.
Malcolm wrote, "... using actual church registers Robert’s parents are indeed William and Susan Midgley, I have already researched William’s ancestry and verifiably profiled his children and grandchildren. I am in the process of researching the Midgley family with parent’s already verifiably profiled. I am currently researching wife Elizabeth, I believe he married Charity in the United States so will leave this to my American cousins who know more about US sources."
