Hello from the beautiful Pacific Northwest! I am a Massachusetts transplant branch with very deep New England roots, pursuing membership in some social organizations requiring pedigrees, and a history geek. I can't say it's been terribly difficult but I received some early clues from a distant cousin matched through DNA on another ancestry site, plus my mother told stories of famous related pilgrims and former family glory, so I had an idea of names to search and where to look. I love to investigate. I'm hoping to connect with contemporaries, find new relatives, travel more, and enjoy discovering the past within the present.
