Elizabeth Goad was the sister-in-law of Valentine Sevier who owned land next to John Cock in Augusta, VA and was referenced several times in Augusta court records 1740s and 50s. She did NOT marry John Cox son of William and I did not say she did. You must be reading someone else's comments. This stuff has been tossed around for years and I prefer not to discuss it any further.

There was a previous G2G question (no answers) regarding the merge between the son of Anders Cox and the son of William Cox.  The merge was conducted and the source used to add Elizabeth Goad as his wife, and the children of the DAR Ancestor remains. See:  https://gw.geneanet.org/ottopalfenier?lang=en&p=john&n=cox&oc=8

Also, the DNA results, presumably from the Johannis, son of Anders is still on this "original" profile.  I want to remove Elizabeth Goad from this profile and take her kids with her, and create a new profile for the DAR Ancestor. I consulted the profile manager, but can I do so without her permission?
