The hole bases of Mr. Moriarty's work is because he claimed Eben Putnam admitted to him that he didn't have a specific record. That is not good enough for me. An im shoure that wouldn't be good enough for anyone else to change what can be proven to be at least 100 year old more than likely more family tradition.

I dare say that wouldn't even be good enough to change a geni or wikitree on most profiles.. so why Is it acceptable for my family's.

Seriously I have a book that says I'm a DNA decendent of Matoaka aka Pocahontas. I can even show how I match other decendents but that's not good enough to add my branch. So why does Moriarity saying somebody else said something considered proof? I can tell you why the College of Arms is a pain because they want money. Money for something that belong to my direct male legitimate 17th great grandfather. Before the college ever existed.
