Brickwall: Who was Richard Aston Scott's parents?

My Paternal Grandmother's father emigrated from London to Fiji in the late 1800s where he was appointed Commissioner of Customs and Receiver General in 1900. Following an illness and a quick visit back to London, he died in 1901.  My question is, who were his parents?  What is the significance of the 'Aston' in his name?  This has been a 'brick wall' for quite a few years.

What we have been told is that Richard Aston Scott's father's name was also Richard and that he was a Dental surgeon in London.   Following a bit of research, we believe that we might have found someone who "could be" his father - Scott-16785.  His mother, on the other hand, eludes me.  Authorities in Fiji say her name might be - Helen, but I have not found any reference to anyone by that name. I have found a record that shows Letitia Hurly married Richard Scott, but doubt she is the person I am looking for.

Any advice or suggestions are much appreciated.

Hi Rob. The baptism record cited on the profile is at this link on Ancestry. There is an image, but it's not letting me share it. (Maybe someone else can manage that.)

It says Richard (without any middle name: no "Aston") was born on 19 February 1842 and baptised on 13 March 1842 at St George the Martyr, Queen Square, Camden, the son of Richard and Ann (not Helen) Scott, of 7 Wardour Street, Soho. The father was a dentist.

Sorry this isn't more help; but the "Ann" seems significant.

I can't see a London birth for a Richard Scott in the first quarter of 1842 at the General Register Office.
