I have her married to John and the daughter Sarah Malissa (4th great grandmother to me).

I have done some digging and have updated Sarah's profile. It turns out that the child Sarah Malissa Winchell is not a child of John and Sarah? Coldwell. She is the daughter of John Winchell and Sally Brand. 

John and Unknown Coldwell had one known son - Philander who eventually ended up in California. 

The question then is which family do you think you belong to. Wife Coldwell or Wife Brand??

Thank you for finding that. I now need to figure it out more and determine where I got her parents. Even the Sarah Malissa is not the same as the one who was from John and Sally. I appreciate very much that you gave me some ideas, and new prospective. I just have to take it back to Sarah Malissa then and start from there again.

What you will have to do is cut Sarah Melissa loose from John Winchell and Sarah Coldwell and clean up Sarah Coldwells research notes. As far as I can tell from my searching she does not belong to that family.
