Brick wall crushed

Ive been doing genealogy for over fifty years. Wheen a teenager a great great aunt of mine called Dimple Louise Gray made me crazy. For many years I kept trying to find out anything about her - nothing. Yesterday I did a search again. A newspapers.com listing came up.  I squinted at it many times and it said her name was Dimple Louise Young.  Typo? So I searched around and found Dimple Louise Young.  My great great uncle was her fourth husband, and his second of three - so I guess she just didnt get much attention.   Her name turns out to be Dauphine Louise Young.

Congratulations. It's a wonderful feeling to break a longstanding brick wall.

It's been a while, but I remember it being a double take - a feeling like, "Did I really just see that?"
