How to find 1850 NYC census

I have had no luck finding 1850 NYC census. Does anyone have any ideas?? I am working with a very common name, McDonald, and they were married on July 4th 1850!! NYC. Take a look at the photo, it is fabulous!

It looks like you probably missed the 1850 depending on when the census was taken. Here's the 1860:

The 1850 New York Census was taken on 1 June, so the couple who married in July wouldn't be on it as a married couple.

Thank you but I have the 1860 already. And it never occurred to me to go line by line for the whole of New York City. I am hoping someone might have a different type of resource for 1850 NYC before I do that. Even in 1850 NYC was huge!
