I have just started a project like this for Woodside Cemetery in Westminster, MA, clarifying the relationships between people in the same lot by working out family group sheets. The town began to be settled in the 1750s. There were a few stages in the development of the cemetery during which families would prioritize available space over proximity to closest relations.It has been an interesting way to combine local history with genealogy. As I become increasingly familiar with the variety of research resources available locally, I am better able to help others sort the 4 cousins with similar names and dates, or help those researching from a distance better understand what was happening in the area while their ancestors were here.
