Joining the Mayflower Project in 2022? Look here... [closed]

Question

Are you interested in improving the profiles of Mayflower passengers and their families?

The Mayflower Project currently covers the passengers of the Mayflower, their spouses, and their descendants for two generations or born before 1700, whichever is more inclusive. Please note that all Mayflower passengers and most of their family members already have profiles on WikiTree and should not be duplicated. If you cannot find yours, please ask. 

Anyone who has signed the Honor Code and has the Pre-1700 badge is invited to join the project. 

To Join - Please carefully follow these Directions: 

1. Read the Project page. 
2. Ask yourself: Do I actively want to participate in the project and contribute to the  Mayflower Project goals? See Project FAQ 
3. Add and maintain Mayflower in your Followed Tags on your profile. This is a requirement of membership.
4. Post an answer (not a comment) below, introducing yourself, and sharing why you are interested in the Mayflower Project, who your ancestor is (if you know that you have one), and what you plan to contribute to the project. Comments that don't specify a request to join the project will be removed to avoid confusion.
5. Add yourself to the participants list. 

If you simply want to acknowledge that you are the descendant of a Mayflower passenger and honor that passenger, Mayflower has a Sticker you can add to your profile.

I would be thrilled to be added to your Mayflower Project knowing I may have more Pilgrims I am descended from. Just a couple years ago I went through the process of proving my direct ancestors were descendants of Allerton and Priest Pilgrim families with The GSMD. My name is Sandi Shipps Beernink and I am new to WikiTree as of this month.

My name is Rhnea Werner Burcham I am a direct descendant of Priscilla Mullins who is my 10th Great Grandmother, John Alden who is my 10th Great Grandfather, William Mullins who is my 11th Great Grandfather and Alice ? Wife of William Mullins who is my 11th Great Grandmother.   

I am very interested in my ancestors as well as the other passengers from the Mayflower. I want to learn the history of of the passengers.

I am a direct Ancestor of John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley through My Dimmick, Bosworth, Howland lines,  Jonathan Bosworth married Hannah Howland  1637-1708  They were my 9th great grandparents , They were on my Mothers line

This project looks really fun to work on, especially my ancestors! I'm descended from William and Love Brewster, (my 12x 11x great grandfathers, respectively), John Howland, (my 12x great grandfather), Elizabeth Tilley, (married John Howland), as well as Edward and Samuel Fuller. I hope that I can expand the range of known Mayflower descendants on Wikitree.

Welcome to the Project, Calvin. Do you have a particular area you plan to work on? I see you're fairly new to WikiTree, so perhaps building a well-sourced lineage to your known Mayflower ancestors would be a good way to get started, and practicing writing biographies for them.

I would like to join the Mayflower project. I am a descendant of Edward Fuller. I would be glad to work on any Mayflower descendant but of course I am most interested in the Fuller family.  

My goal in this project is to familiarize myself more with early records as I have many early colonial ancestors that I have not done much work on yet.  

I hope I can be of some help.

I note that in your direct line Mercy (Knowles) Rich has only one manager, but you're encouraged to choose any of them, especially those who have only the Mayflower Project as manager, even if they're not in your direct line.

I am descended from two Mayflower passengers: Edward Fuller and George Soule.  I have been going through Silver Book 4 for Edward Fuller and verifying that all of his descendants listed in the book are accurately represented on Wikitree and sourced.

My two proven Mayflower lines with the Society are Brewster and Mullins but I have other lines, too.

I look forward to reviewing the existing profiles and maybe even suggesting some additions especially if the group decides to expand to include 5 generations.
