WOW!!!  What a moment of illumination for me!  I never thought about people who entities in mathematics were named for ... it's a thrill to discover that there is (or was) a person responsible for Bernouilli's principle.  Now I can't wait to learn all about his life.  I'm already very familiar with his work!

I bet there was a person named Cauchy and another one named Fourier and Avogadro and Pythagoras ... and ... and ... and ...

I just thought of something - I happen to have a Bernoulli thermometer hanging on my wall and could take a photo of it to add to the profile.
