Suggestion for WikiTree+

Question

In WikiTree+, the Reports section, functions "Ancestors" and "Descendants (beta)", I suggest adding the option to display ONLY terminal ancestors, i.e. only ancestors both of whose parents are unknown, or terminal descendants, i.e. ONLY descendants with no children. If there are more than 20 such ancestors or descendants in any generation, display at least 20 of them.

Aleš, my idea was good, but your change was even better! Thanks. An improvement would be to show the ancestors in the last generation, saving the user from having to look at the last entry(ies) in the previous generation to find their parents.

Aleš, my previous comment must have been written while you were still making the changes. Again, you have gone beyond my suggestion. I would not have even thought of the additional additions you have made. Many thanks, also for your speed in making these improvements. They will save me quite a bit of time in the future.

In the link cell, there are 4 groups: 

• Both Ancestors: with the total number and profiles if less than 20.
• Only Father: with the total number and profiles if less than 10.
• Only Mother: with the total number and links if less than 10.
• No Ancestors: with the total number and links if less than 20.

I extended all links to look like this:

• A is for WT+ Ancestors report from this person.
• D is for WT+ Descendants report from this person.
• WikiTreeID is a link to the profile.
•  is link to WT+ Tree
• H is a link to Profile's edit history
•  is link to WT+ Map of the nuclear familly
•  is link to WT+ Map of ancestors
•  is link to WT+ Map of descendants

I haven't changed this report for a few years, so changes were due. It bugged me for years that you can't jump to descendants report or to WikiTree.com Now it is all possible.

You found ideal time. Today I am recalculating suggestions and I can't do anything but wait for computer to calculate everything.
