GEDCOM conversion to HTML file for Dummies

I have the Complete Genealogy Builder suite.  It builds a beautiful HTML chart (as well as PDF), but I can't find a way to email the HTML version.  I tried some "free" software which is supposed to translate, but it doesn't work.  I've also followed several "How To's" which also didn't work.  I'm hopeful somebody can give me some simple instructions on how to format and email a GEDCOM HTML file.  I'm fairly "low tech" which is the first problem.

As info, the Builder software will let you pick an individual from your tree and make a chart specifically for that person.  I plan on sharing my Tree with family without sending the entire Tree (over 900 pages).  I also have the main Tree on "My Heritage" - I'm in the process of building a new Tree here.  Thanks!

Have you tried putting it into a folder then compressing it into ... a ".zip" or other compression format?

Normally, the right-click mouse function (sometimes on the file, sometimes anywhere on the desktop) will reveal a function to make a new compressed folder, or compress a file (I think Win7 asks to make a new compressed folder first).

There are other compression file formats to send data. ".rar' is quite popular for any operating system; but ".zip" is too since many people have Windows. The open source app 7z -- for Windows and Linux -- includes most of them, so you can open or compress a variety of data from compressed files  (see http://www.7-zip.org/).

I had tried compressing the file, but kept getting some kind of conflict message.  After receiving your response, I dug a little deeper - I have Windows 8.1, but had a 7-zip program carried over from 5-6 years ago when I transferred data from my old computer last year.  I deleted the old file, and the Windows download prompted the Windows Extract program, and of course worked like a charm!  Thanks for the hint!
