The changes you have made are in the draft. Until the 30 minutes ends, other members cannot see the draft.

In the meantime, check that each ref tag has a closed ref tag </ref>

Try turning on the enhanced editing option to see if that helps you to see the error.

Edited for typo
I cannot see the code in the edit box, due to you being the current editor -- but, have you tried turning on the enhanced editor function and using it to find your errant ref problem?  You might also find it using Ctrl+F.

The most likely culprit is an unclosed starting <ref> -- either with another <ref> instead of </ref>, or a missing </ref>.

Another culprit might be a missing end ref name tag - but, as I said, I cannot see to code to know which.

(A <ref name="whatever" requires an end </ref> - and on subsequent uses the <ref name="whatever" /> should be used with the space before the />.)
thank you for the tutorial. I had looked for all these repeatedly w/o result. Today, however, the error notice is gone. Presume someone went in and fixed what was wrong.

I especially liked hearing about using "enhanced mode" to troubleshoot text. Never heard of that.

Again, can't see your draft but from what is there, in the Bio, 2nd point "Marriage", middle of that entry has Felix followed by ref 2 (uppercase).  This is the only one in the text without a space before the next word: "The marriage..."  Maybe something so simple?

The profile looks like you have a 'ref' entry in the Sources section, which should not be done because it is after the 'references' line.  I don't know if that would stop a full save from happening.  It sure didn't stop anything before this 'draft save' was started. You may have the option to select Save Anyway and then probably select the Leave, if that occurred, since the actual Save seems to occur only if you select the Leave.

Profile is saved!!  When I first looked at it and someone else was working on it, I saw the [7] at the end of the profile.  When I went in to edit it, using the previous draft, I went to the end and that item had the starting 'ref', but not the ending 'ref', so removing it fixed the problem.
I forgot to posit that possibility.  Happy yo know the issue is now solved.
because it was at the end of the profile, the enhanced editor wouldn't help as much, unfortunately, but it does help when the problem is anywhere else on the page.  I have been working on so many gedcoms that I saw the line that should be in a Acknowledgements probably.  At least we got it figured out.
excellent, Linda. Thank you so much!
