Disappearing images

Question

A recurring problem, I frequently open one of my profiles to find an image has disappeared from the page and the site!

I then have to find the original image on my computer  and upload it on here again.

Trying to find a current example without success but when I do come across another I'll post the link.

Could you link to a profile where images have gone missing?

So one suggestion is to look at your list of contributions. That should give a link to the image if it exists on WikiTree.

Looking at your contributions I see some of the images you uploaded are privacy protected. Could that explain why they are not showing up? E.g. https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Perrott-867-1

If an image is not linked to a profile (either a person or a free-page page), it will show up with red privacy and it will be deleted after a few days.
