When was the photo of Rachel (Eddy) Cummings taken?

There is a photo of Rachel (Eddy) Cummings in the book

Cummings genealogy : Isaac Cummings, 1601-1677 of Ipswich in 1638 and some of his descendants

Given that she died in 1852, it must be from one of her last years, since the technology of photography was so new. But the book doesn’t, as far as I could see, give the exact date.
Has anyone found out when it was taken?

I don't have an answer to your question, but for whatever it's worth, she is related to me by marriage. Her husband, Elisha Cummings, is my 4th cousin 6 times removed. Isaac Cummings (Cummings-6) is my 9th great grandfather, as well as Elisha's 4th great grandfather. I am descended from Isaac's son John (1630) and Elisha is descended from Isaac's son Isaac (1632).

No, the book does not give a date for the photo. But interested parties can learn about Elisha on page 416, conveniently located at this link:

Elisha is my 5th ggf.

I wonder if there is a photo of him to be discovered; he did outlive her by 8 years, and there are ones of his sons. It’s curious that they have one of Rachel, but not him, especially given his importance to the town of Montpelier.
Hm. That would make you and me zillionth cousins umpteen times removed. :D  I briefly Googled looking for a picture of him, but if there is one out there, it's well hidden. And since it's not in the book, it would seem no such picture was available to the author.
