Using spouse ID in Connections why does it all go through me instead of him?

Using my spouse ID number to find Connections, Featured Connections, etc, they all go through me.  Why can't I find any connections that go through his ancestral lines?

I suspect it is because all of your spouse's data is Private, including the identities of any of his ancestors that may be profiled here, and the Connection Finder doesn't see them.  You have a Public tree.
Connection finder is based on currently existing linked profiles in WikiTree and finds the shortest path between two individuals. His connection to you, right now, provides the shortest path to the "featured connections." Once his own family tree is filled out further back and wider out, the shortest connections from him to others may no longer include you. Since his profile is private right now there's no way for me to see how connected he is to anyone other than you.
I just changed it to Private with Public tree - which is what I show for me.

Thank you.
I just did a look-see on his ancestors as I thought others would have linked in (the way WikiTree works) but didn't find any and I see I didn't go back very far myself.

Thank you, I will work on filling it out more.
