Do you have D. Richardson's books ?

I'm seeking someone who can check out a couple of sources for me. Ref;- Margery (Parr) Perry, daughter of the 1st Baron of Horton. She is said to be the wife of Roger Perry, 1495 - 1585. He was claimed to be the son of William Perry, 1466 - 1547 and Joane (Holcombe) Perry.

I have seen a marriage given, listed in Exeter, but that does not prove they were the persons being investigated.

I have been given two sources - D. Richardson, "Plantagenet History, a study in colonial & medieval families" Volume 2, page 663 and by the same author "Magna Carta Ancestry" page 643

As I don't have access to those books, I cannot check it out.

So, nothing in the UK, then. That makes me wonder if

sources quoted are ever checked out  here, or do people just accept it all on face value ?
This is about sources cited in general and my own observation, how many people actually check the sources on a Wikipedia article for example.

I have all three of the latest additions by Douglas Richardson. I checked for Margaret Parr, Margaret Perry, and Roger Perry. The closest thing I found was a Reverend Roger Parry but he was born in 1548 and buried in 1634. His two wives were Mary Crosley and Eleanor _____, widow of ____ Ewins of Tarring, Sussex. Roger's father is listed as George Parry (or ap Harry.) Richardson had no listings for anyone by the name of Perry, and the only Parrs were very well known female Psrrs related to Catherine Parr. No Margaret, Maud, Meg, Mags, Matilda, etc. All of this comes from Vol II of Richardson's Royal Ancestry. I wish you luck… I know how hard it can be.
