Searching for father of James Marcus Harrell, born in Berrien County Georgia.

Question

James Marcus Harrell (1887-1966), sometimes went by Marcus, born to Margaret Harrell in Berrien County, GA.  Father unknown, James seems to have taken his mothers maiden name. He moved on to Jackson County Florida. I'm trying to solve the mystery of who his father was.  His brothers death certificate lists Taylor as the last name of his father.        

Margaret's father was William Harrell, but can't figure out which William or what happened to him after his wife, Flora died.  Margaret's Mother .Flora Ann McDonald Harrell, passed in 1862 and her children were placed in different homes in the area.

thanks for responding. Yes, that was my cousin Tara. Unfortunately she has since passed along with a couple others who were trying to figure this out. There are a few of us still searching for the same answers as back then.
