Granduncle's wife inquiry

Hello,
I'm trying to determine which of Ethel M. Talbot and Ethel M. Talbert was in fact married to my Granduncle, John William Pye b. 24 Apr 1880 in "Stoke on Trent, Somerset, England and d. 8 Aug 1958 in Los Angeles County, California.  He seems to come up in different records interchangeably, but with the two different spouses.  Wonder what the truth is??  His sister, Florence Cecelia Pye was definitely my grandmother

Parents James John Pye and wife Elizabeth

Ethel M Talbert (though the marriage states Talbot) 

Her Mother Emma Rogers remarries a John Trigg (after she is widowed according to the Census though I am not sure if that's true) 

This is her second husbands memorial (Which mentions Emma but not where she is burled) Photo of Memorial Stone of John Trigg

Census 1900 shows Emma (born Wisconsin) and Ethel (Born circa 1899 Minnesota aged 11 in Census) with a John Frigg - original available on familysearch to view and could be Trigg.. Census location Multnomah, Oregon. 

John died in 1923 did Emma remarry?
