How do I make my profile unlisted like this example? I didn't realize this was an option as an active member and would like to know how. Thank you!

eta: profile commenting on other profiles, asking questions about folks families, is how I noticed.

That profile is of a former active member but the account is now closed.

Active members are not supposed to have Unlisted privacy.

I tried looking him up - he has hidden himself pretty well.

If you an active member of WikiTree, private is the highest privacy level you can choose.

Unlisted is a privacy level for living persons, who are not WikiTree members, e. g. your living parents, if they are not members.

Thank you! I am still confused though. Whomever "owns" this account is active and posting comments on individual profiles asking for information. How is that possible then?
The unlisted profile has three profile managers. They are listed on the unlisted profile. It's probably one of them posting messages?
One of them has the same surname like the unlisted profile,
that might have confused you.
Yes, thank you for pointing that out, I find it interesting that three individuals are posting comments on profiles via an unlisted living profile, asking for personal information, of other members. My spouse did not want me to participate in this worldwide sharing of family dna and he has been proven correct. Thank you!

Please clarify what you mean by "posting comments on profiles via an unlisted living profile". An example might be helpful.

If you click on any of the three profile managers for the indicated unlisted profile, you will see examples of what I think she is referring to.
That profile was of a former active member. The profile was made unlisted when their account was closed.
I'm not seeing anything of concern. None of the three profile managers is active. And I see no comments from them asking for personal information.
Just to be clear:  Someone asked for an example of "posting comments on profiles via an unlisted living profile", so I was just trying to point out that each of the profile pages for the three profile managers for "Living Barnett" contains comments posted by "Living Barnett".  The comments are not recent.  Presumably at the time they were made, the comments would have had a different moniker.
Thanks for the clarification, Colleen.

Anon Lewis, Those look like normal types of comments from one wikitree user to another. I'm not seeing the privacy concern. The poster (now Living Barnett) shared their own family info in what looks like an attempt to find out how they might be related to another wikitreer.
