Do you have Nova Scotia ancestors who served in the US Civil War?

Over 200 Nova Scotians served in the US Civil War, both on the US and Confederate sides. I see that the Genealogical Society of Nova Scotia has published several articles identifying many of these men, and I wonder if anyone thinks it would be worthwhile to make a category to capture these profiles, and encourage adding details of their service to their profiles? I think such a category could be very useful to anyone researching this topic (e.g., in which states did they volunteer, did they remain in the US after the war or return to Nova Scotia, etc.) and I have submitted a new category request. If it is approved, then we need to link profiles, and I will be grateful for any assistance.

UPDATE: I found this existing category, which should do the trick until I find enough Nova Scotians to make a subcategory.:
