Proposal: Explain the Connection Finder colors

Question

Could we add to the Connection Finder results screen an explanation of the colors?  This feature baffles a great many users.  I propose something like "The color changes from green to yellow, or from yellow to green, when the connection is by marriage rather than blood."  The best placement, I think, is directly below "Joe is x degrees from Roberta," and above the connection display.

Good suggestion, Herbert. If the text on the Connection Finder page is improved, it would also be good to add a prominent note saying something like "Connection Finder results are updated approximately every 24 hours. If a connection you expected is not visible, please try again tomorrow." This could save a lot of G2G questions.

If no relationship is found, the Relationship Finder page already says "Please note that relationships in this database are only updated once a day. Changes made on WikiTree today may mean that a relationship can be found tomorrow."

There will still be questions, because not everyone learns the same way.

(I think it's a good idea, so am in favour of it.  I just don't know how much it would solve.)

Outstanding suggestion, Jim, thank you!  And sure, zero questions is unattainable but fewer questions would be terrific.  Not to mention less aggravation and frustration for new members.
