Just now.  It is different from DNAPainter.com.  Instead of comparing autosomal DNA matches, it tells you the geographic region of the world where your chromosome segment originated.  Mine is really boring at 98.5% Western European and less than 2% Eastern European. This will be more useful for those from unknown or widely dispersed populations.

Thank you.  GEDmatch does something similar, don't they?  (It's been a long time since I've used that feature.)

I haven't used gedmatch in over a year, but I do use DNAPainter.com.

I just looked at my admixture by chromosome on GEDmatch.  I'd have to look at their definitions more carefully to understand  my results.  But yes, they do offer an admixture report by chromosome (as a basic free service).

It doesn't really much value when their ethnicity prediction is the worse of all 4 major DTC's not only from the detail level but even more from an accuracy PoV.

I have written a blog post which compares my own results for all 4 DTC's and ranks them for my unique German/Italian ethnicity (with some yet unproven Scandinavian DNA).

Please note that as per my own ethnicity FTDNA comes in last place (with the 2021 results), especially as I have ethnicity that neither of my parents have (some sort of Ghost DNA??).
