Tree Nuts 2021 Source-a-Thon Chat

Question

Hello and welcome back, Team Tree Nuts! It's time to get to sourcing!!

First, if you haven't registered yet, make sure to go here and tell Mindy you want to be a Tree Nut!

Come visit our Team Page and let us know what you'll be working on.

If you have some helpful tips and/or good resources feel free to add them to our page.

And you can start your own thread below by Answering this post. You can give us updates on your progress, ask for and give help, etc.

We have a new channel on the WikiTree Discord server. It's a lot of fun to have live conversations going on during the 'thons. If you're not already on the Discord server, there are instructions on the help page.

We're looking forward to hanging out with all of you again!

Hi Mary Ellen, 

I just learned that you have not yet signed up for the Source-a-Thon. You will need to do that by midnight (EDT) tonight to be included in the 'thon' and on the TreeNuts team. Go to the g2g post and click the green "Answer this Post" button.

So I added myself to the Tree Nuts group (not sure if that was ok but hopefully)! Looking forward to the source-a-thon! What is the name of the discord channel?

I downloaded Discord. How do I get to your group. Need an invite. I saw it at first now can't get back.

There is a link to the WikiTree Discord server on that page. Make sure to go to the "wikitree-verification" channel on the left side panel on the server. You'll see instructions there to get verified, and that's how you'll be able to join in the chat with the rest of the Tree Nuts.

I'll be at my computer for a little while more tonight, so I'll keep my eyes open for your request for verification. :-)
