New member introducing myself

Question

I've been a member for a while now but got inspired watching a Genealogy TV video on YouTube about the site. My biggest roadblock, at the moment, is my maternal grandfather William Neal (Prince - could be middle name or nickname) Lilley born in 1904 in Pea Ridge Arkansas. He left my grandmother (Viola Lulu Goodwin) after the birth of my mother (Charlise Carnice Lilley) so we have no family records of him. He's pretty trackable AFTER he left - I know all about his next family and his death. I have no records of his birth, his parents - anything. Census records show that he claimed his father was born in England and his mother in South Carolina. I think he is linked to the Lilly's in West Virginia since there is one who died in Pea Ridge (James "Shady Jim" Lilly) but none of that can be sourced. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, one person I was collaborating with thought the same. It turns out, after looking at further census and other records that is William m Lilley Jr and the father is William m Lilley sr so I don't think so. I  had him as the father for a while but further research made me think not. I'm wondering if he had a brother or something also from England
