Is it "possible" there are two Philemon Richards? 1. Philemon Richards (1756-1850) who married Susannah Wood (1750-) 2. Philemon Richards (1770-1818) who married Martha Christian (1770-1829) Here's why I ask: -I've found the 1782, 1820, 1830 and 1850 census along with marriage records for Susannah and Rev. War pension payments all within Orange County, VA which matches Philemon #1. Philemon #1 stated he had always lived in Orange County, VA. -I've found the marriage records for Martha Christian in Augusta County, VA and 1800, 1810 census in Henderson County, Kentucky. Philemon #2 with Martha Christian raised 4 children (Lewis, Fountain, Elizabeth and Benjamin) in and around Henderson, Union and Hopkins County, KY from 1798-1813. It seems to me Philemon #1 remained in Virginia and Philemon #2 migrated to Kentucky along with the rest of his family. What do you think?? Anita
