Looks like she's on the phone, J.  Perhaps hasn't gotten into texting yet!  And some of the hair might have been donated by a lot of little critters who aren't identified.

That's definitely hair. Hair that long wasn't all that uncommon back then. It was considered unwomanly for a woman to cut her hair.

When you can wrap yourself up nice and cosy in your own hair then you have a problem. Rapunzel can help her though.
