A genealogist, I help others with their family history, I am stuck on my McKenzie line.

Question

Archibald McKenzie born somewhere in Nova Scotia, I am thinking Canada. birth: August 1830 Nova Scotia  death: 4 Nov 1906 Martinez, Contra Costa, California, United States.

I can't find exactly where he is from and who his parents are. I've looked at some records from Nova Scotia, Canada from 1830 time period. There are too many Archibalds, that I don't know which one is him.

I do know he went to Maine, married Sarah 'Frances' Clough. They then went to California.
