Would you be interested in an African American project? I suggest a top level project with subprojects such as African American Slaves, Abolistionists and Civil Rights Leaders, and African American Notables (famous people).  Other subprojects can be added to fit your needs.

Could I suggest you re-tag your question with "African American"? That might bring this to the attention of a few more people specifically interested in this topic.

All in favor. I am working (albeit very slowly) on a one place study of Oberlin, OH, which would have multiple tie-ins via abolitionists, notables, etc.
