I am still new to the G2G forums s thanks for pointing that out (mentioning where I have looked). I sourced the daughter's (Sarah) profile with what I had added from my GED.com via FamilySearch and Ancestry (I don't like using those sources bc I can't even access them since I don't have a paid membership anymore) if anyone has a paid membership and could see my sources I'd be fine sharing that information. However I didn't move any more sources to the parents' sites because of the question. After going back through Findagrave and the similar website that is solely for Iowa Cemeteries (I have it bookmarked but can't recall the exact name for some reason) I did a basic Google search and kept finding family trees with James and Mary listed as parents- the last name of "Mary" varied from the two mentioned and I did notice a spelling of "Stoakes" a few times with the father's name so I added it to my other free accounts incase any hints pop up. My fold3 account has a glitch with my phone so I haven't been able to look there and I don't quite understand how to use ftdna, gedmatch, dnaland etc for family trees so those sources are also out. Geni and Heritage list the parents I mentioned and I honestly don't know yet where the connected names have come from bc I haven't found them. I hope this helps but I feel it may be too basic. I will look to see if I am leaving anything out and comment again if so. Thank you so much for your reply!!! Becky
