Sandipher Spearman, son of John Spearman and Ruth Powell, so Nancy Wood was John R's second wife, no kids with her. John R in Missouri is John that married Ruth.

Sandipher born 1818 Cumberland KY, died 1903 Texas, married Cynthia Oliver

It looks like he was an only child

While looking for these peeps, found WILLIAM BENJAMIN SPEARMAN, born 1848 Newberry SC , son of Samuel Worthington Spearman. William Benjamin married Amanda Tyson and had 4 kids that lived. He died 1917 in Cass County Texas

For Amanda Tyson, father Noah Samuel Tyson and mother was Amanda Brinkley

SAR Records say father was Shem Tyson 1778-1825 Pitt County NC Census records for him Shem's wife Lucretia Adams Shem's father was Noah 1757-1805 Pitt - land grant, census and will in Ancestry . Shem's mother on SAR was Elizabeth Moore SAR for Noah born 1757 parents Moses and Naomi maiden name Lowe

I found Lucretia Tyson about those dates, daughter of Jehu Tyson - he has a will in Ancestry - and SAR that has this Lucretia marries Shem Tyson  everybody in Pitt County NC, so cousins got married

Don't know where Adams came from but Shem had a son John Adams Tyson born 1815 Pitt, died 1884 Alabama, in 1850 census Lowndes Ala with brother Archibald but except for census only docs are SAR memberships
