Dudley Parker I believe is a son of Nathaniel Parker of Stewart, TN. Note there was a Nathan Parker and a Nathaniel Parker in the 1820, 1830, 1840 Stewart, TN. census records. Nathan Parker originated in N.C.; but Nathaniel was from Virginia. Nathaniel Parker owned land on Barretts Creek, Stewart County, VA. And Dudley Parker in 1853 sold land on Barretts and Hughs Creek to a Benjamin Champion. The above referenced Nathaniel Parker first appears on Barretts Creek in 1818/1819. Dudley is buried about 1.5 miles from Barretts Creek. Probable brothers are Aaron Parker, Laban Parker, Thomas Parker, with another two yet to be identified. The above referenced Nathaniel Parker died in Calloway County, KY before 3 October 1850. He is enumerated in the 1850 Calloway, KY. U.S. census as Nathaniel Parker age 80 born Virginia. I believe him to be the youngest son of Aaron Parker of Hampshire County, VA./later Allegany County, MD.
