George Batterson (1731 - 1796) Connecticut Genealogy

Question

Family search has his parents listed as James Batterson Sr and Mary Coverly. I adopted his profile and it’s attached to a Zachariah Batterson (abt. 1708-1790)  We need some collaboration to determine and source the correct lineage. 

This source per  "The history and genealogies of ancient Windsor,...." The history and genealogies of ancient Windsor,.... N.p., n.d. Web. 12 Dec. 2016 seems to show a James Batterson (1682-1730) as father?

Jacobus' Families of Old Fairfield (Vol 2 p. 73) lists him as the possible ? son of Anthony of Norwalk 1723.
