How to create a place category

I just created a cemetery category for Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wilsonville, North Carolina. However, the category of Wilsonville, North Carolina does not exist. So, that part appears in red.

I'm not sure how to create that category. Can someone walk me through it?

Addendum: I think I figured it out. Please let me know if I did something wrong.

Care must be taken.

First check the county category it would belong in to ensure it's not there. Some US locations get created with the county name used for disambiguation.

If the location is not already existing, check Wikipedia and/or GNIS for location information to add to the location.

Parent category should be the county. If the place lies in more than one county, add both but create ONLY ONE category.

Thank you.

You're right. Just click the red link and copy/adapt the categories of a "sibling category"
