How to Confirm my DNA cousins using the DNA confirmation app

Question

How do I use the DNA  confirmation app to confirm my dna cousin matches since I can't confirm my parents dna through a dna test?

Also I am not understanding how to cite a triangulation.  Is there genealogist who would be willing to mentor me?  I would greatly appreciate it!
