Maybe to help and protect?? . I have searched ever where I can think of including lineage of Patrick and Beasley I am from both names and my grand parents Charles Patrick b1872 and Lizzie Beasley b 1879 married in 18oo's. in Ill.t.I hope someone is able to find what I have not been able to.
