Wow, what a wonderful WikiTree-ing weekend! Another marathon has come and gone and the results are epic. Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2021 Spring Clean-a-Thon.  Our community really shines when we come together and work hard on bettering our tree!

This year we cleared 233,558 suggestions in 72 hours! Quite an accomplishment. We beat last year’s total of 158,784 by almost 80,000, making this our most productive Clean-a-Thon yet.

Holey smokes! I did not expect that we would clear over 233,000 suggestions! That is absolutely amazing. Every time I participate in the CAT, I feel grateful for these suggestions Aleš creates. I know some people feel they are a burden, but it gives a chance for profiles that haven't seen the light of day in years to get some love. That's tens of thousands of profiles that just got loved!

P.S. I can't wait for the Connect A Thon. It's my new favorite thon since my favorite thing to do is create new profiles and connect family together. I'll be working to add more profiles towards USBH's goal of 50,000 new profiles this year.

The poor neglected DeCoursey-Gedcom got cleaned of more than 2200 suggestions. I did a happydance when I saw that. I know I only cleaned a bit of it, but I also sourced some profiles, put {{Unsourced}} on others and cleaned the formatting of many of them. So the Gedcom is now far cleaner than before.
