TTWelcome to the Twisted Thistles chat page! This is for the 2021 Clean-a-thon. If you haven't registered for the Clean-a-thon yet, please do so here. Make sure you click the answer button there (not reply) and say you want to be on Team Twisted Thistles.

Please visit our team page. Some favourite resources are listed and some great ideas on what areas are great to work on for this -thon. Here on this G2G page, below, you can start a conversation with a comment or question. This is a great opportunity for the Scotland Project (and anyone else who is interested) to make some collaborative relationships and ask questions.

The goal of the Clean-a-thon is to clear as many database suggestions as we can. While this team is primarily concerned with Scotland, all corrections count. Some suggestions are easier than others. Some can be involved and tricky. Don't be afraid to ask questions! Let's all work together to teach and learn and make our shared tree healthier!

Let's go Scotland and Twisted Thistles!!
by Linda Peterson G2G6 Pilot (791k points)
A little bird told me that Linda is actually on the Nor'Easters team! Horrors!!! Can this be true?!?
Just because I head the DD team on Twisted Thistles, I live in Nor'Easters territory and most of my relatives are in that area.  lol

I created a nice table for Twisted Thistles to use for this Thon of Easy Suggestions.  If they get through all of those, it would be a totally amazing Thon!!  Nothing says I won't work on some of the Scotland suggestions.

I won't mind if Team average is higher for Twisted Thistles since they have a small team vs the Nor'Easters team.
And that is why we all love you so much in the Scotland Project! Lol. You’ve always got our backs.
Play nice everyone. We are willing to share her. LOL
Thank you for all you do for Scotland Project and our Twisted Thistles, Linda!  Steven's right... we can share you (maybe grudgingly) with the Nor'Easters!

Just for the sake of not running into each other, it might be a good idea to post what you're planning to work on. For my first group I'll start with 645 Death Location not recognized where there is a nice round 1000 to work on. That should keep me busy for a while! See you all here in the morning.

Remember: Quality over Quantity - that's our strength.

Well said, Bobbie!  I'll be working in Scotland Pre-1500 errors for the most part.  No specific error.

I'll be working on 675, marriage location not recognized. 1002 of those, so it should keep me busy for awhile.

Holy cow. I'm having trouble connecting to the server. It must be overwhelmed.

We all are. I've been making the corrections, and then doing batch status updates when it's stable.

Just getting started. I'll work on separators in birth location.

Edit: Whoops! Looks like V. Wilson has started on separators in birth location. I'll work on Birth location - Country not recognized.

Somebody's already working on that one, too. I will be working on 632 Separators in Death, birth and marriage Locations.

There are a few of us working on all of them, so you'll probably run into some that have been done. But if you skip down the list a bit you may find untouched ones.
