fix category map coordinates

Question

I am back to looking at the map generated from the link in a Category Info Box, in particular on Category: Yarcowie, South Australia and its successor Category: Whyte Yarcowie, South Australia. 

1. How often does a cache get updated to reflect changes in the profile data? At the time of writing, there are no profiles on the Yarcowie map, but three in the category., and 7 on the Whyte Yarcowie map but only five in the category.
2. Is there a way to adjust/correct coordinates for places?
   1. One birth was at Hindmarsh, but the dot is 150km away at Hindmarsh Island.
   2. Several dots are in the centre of South Australia. I think one is because there is not more accurate data, but others seem to be falling back from an unrecognised place name (Whyte Yarcowie, South Australia, Australia)
