Looking for more information on Frederick & Tabitha (Roake) James,Bideford Devon.

Matilda James christened on 1 August 1830 in Bideford, Devon. The record says Father Frederick James and mother Isabella James. (Not Tabitha) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FWNM-YSM

I believe that Frederick's middle name may be Stephen.  The name Isabella may have been a mistake made by the recorder of this particular christening record.

From my records I have that after arriving on this side of the Atlantic 3 more children were born.  David born in New York 1843 died in Strathroy 1915.  David is my great great grandfather.  John born in Ohio 1846.  And, Julia Jain born in Ontario 1849 - 1882.  I haven't seen any birth or baptism records for these.
