Hi Marie ? Is that your adopted name also ? I am Trish Haskett adopted name, but use my birth name here and on DNA sites Loretta Morrison. I had my adoption records opened in 2012 and found mostly welcoming birth family living around me. I used DNA evidence to find my husband's birth family for him in 2015, ( he found out at 42 dad wasn't father) and one half brother became a new best friend but two others were more like your experience... not any interest. His birth father lived in Griffin, GA and had a few wives, at once apparently as we have never found divorce records for any four:). I wish you much luck in discovery of all the stories that can enrich your life from your birth family.
