It has recently come to my attention that Pehr Kalm's profile is bare of records and family.

Pehr (Peter) Kalm https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kalm-9  Almost every colonial history of Canada, New York, and the United States I have read, quotes Kalm.   is one of the most important primary sources for historians concerned with Colonial British and French North America.  I  have added some of his publications and a bit to his biography..  I hope that those familiar with Swedish resources will help expand our understanding  of this important chronicler of early America

Thanks. I looked in vain for his birth record in Själevad parish, where he is said to be born when the sources are more specific than Ångermanland (the province).

This is likely to mean that Pehr was born in 1715 if he as in the Wikipedia text was born 6 weeks after his father's death.

I find that Peter Kalm's wife was a widow of the Reverend John Sandin with a daughter born in " Filadelfia, Nord Amerika"  who was two years old when her mother married Peter Kalm. Can I add?

Thank you, John, that's great.  I added your answer as a comment on Sandin-111's profile.  I am reluctant to make significant changes to Scandinavian profiles, as I'm not familiar with those records, naming conventions, etc.  Hopefully, somebody more qualified will make the necessary changes.
