Getting the G2G6 Badge. [closed]

Hi,

It seems that I have earned 6,050 points and have not earned my G2G6 Badge yet. Could someone help?

First... Thanks to Melanie for providing that link, but that link doesn't seem to work for me as it reflects "This question has been hidden by its author.".

Francis, it does take time for the system to catch up since the system is the one that auto-generates/awards the badge.

It took about a week for my badge to pop up on my profile. I can only personally Suggest/Recommend that you be patient and give it something like a week or so.

If you don't receive it then and, since it a system thing, I would email the WikiTree Support folks at info@wikitree.com to ask if they could check it out for you.

Just remember/keep in mind that when it comes to Badges or anything else that the system provides in an "automated" way, always remember to be a little patient as the system does have various types/different cycles it goes through for various different reasons/purposes and such.

I personally keep in mind that if there's no set time period outlined somewhere in WikiTree for something that's system automated, I just fall back on something like a Week to Ten days (or so). And then I just politely inquire about it to the WikiTree Support Folks via their email.

I don't email them often, but when I do feel the need, they always respond within a few days or so (always in a very reasonable amount of time) and provide me with excellent support, guidance, etc...

Last I knew the g2g badges were not automatically generated, but had to be individually added.

Sorry about the outdated link .. I forgot to actually check it. 

I shall remove it from my list of links for g2g file.

It took a while for mine to arrive as well - don't worry, one morning you'll check in and see it and get that 'whuwhoo' feeling.
